| Course Content : |
| The BA Business Studies programme begins with progressive learning of the key elements of business management through 6 initial subject modules . During the second and third semesters, additional depth is gained, and students begin to apply their learning, with practical case studies and projects. |
| Business studies is a multi-disciplinary area which includes subjects such as :- |
- accounting, decision-making, economics, law, management, marketing and organisational behaviour.
Completion of the course will provide an excellent basis for ongoing study. Whether students wish to specialise in accountancy, human resources, or general post-graduate business management qualifications, this course is recognised by a wide variety of professional bodies, including ACCA, CIMA, CIM and CIPD, and graduates may receive some exemptions.
The course combines theoretical and practical modules. The practical side is explored through an in-depth use of case studies, "live" projects linked to businesses, students' places of work and opportunities to undertake practical learning. |
